What it costs

Published, so you can rule us out in ninety seconds.

Two ways to buy, and they are priced differently because they are different things. A website is a fixed scope with a fixed fee. A retainer is capacity you rent by the month. Everything below is a real number, not a lead magnet.

Pricing questions

What it costs, and on what terms.

How much does an AI search agency cost?

Our AI visibility retainer starts at $1,950 a month and the full multi-channel retainer from $8,500 a month. An AI-optimized website is $4,900 to $30,000 as a one-time build depending on scope. Paid media is 12% of managed spend with a $1,800 monthly minimum. Very few agencies publish, so treat a quote far below these as a question about what is missing rather than a bargain.

Why do you publish your prices when most agencies do not?

So you can rule us out in ninety seconds. A discovery call that exists only to reveal a number wastes your afternoon and ours. The figures are real starting points against a defined scope, and the final number comes after the audit, because an account with a broken conversion signal costs more to fix than one that is merely underperforming.

What is a fair minimum term for an agency retainer?

Three months for a visibility-only programme and six for anything that includes content or a paid channel. Six exists because third-party corroboration, which is the heaviest lever in AI search, is also the slowest. Twelve month lock-ins are not necessary for this work, and a contract with no exit is protecting the agency rather than the result.

Can I cancel, and what happens to the work?

Cancel with 30 days notice after the minimum term. Everything stays yours: the code sits in an account you own, the ad accounts and analytics are in your name, and the prompt set and its transcripts are handed over with everything documented. There is no license, no proprietary platform and no hosting you are obliged to buy from us.

Do I own the code and the accounts?

Yes, from the first day. Everything sits in accounts with your name on them: your code, your ad accounts, your analytics and the tool you edit your content in. Nothing is held somewhere you would have to negotiate for later. If we part ways, it all still runs.

Is there a setup fee on top of the retainer?

No. Month one of a retainer is heavier than the months that follow, because that is when the audit, the entity model and the schema layer happen, and that work is inside the monthly fee. Builds are invoiced in three stages against an agreed scope, and nothing is invoiced before that scope is agreed in writing.

What is the minimum ad spend you will manage?

Around $3,000 a month. Below that, automated campaigns cannot gather enough signal to leave the learning phase, so the fee buys you very little. We will say so and point the money at the site and organic visibility instead of taking the retainer.

Can you guarantee we will be recommended by ChatGPT?

No, and nobody can. Model outputs vary by prompt, session, region and model version, and no provider sells placement. What we commit to is moving share of answer against a fixed prompt set, showing you the monthly transcripts, and telling you which competitor holds the slot when we do not.

What size of business do you work with?

Mostly teams between roughly five and two hundred people who already have demand and want to compound it. Below about $3,000 a month of paid spend we will tell you to put the money into the site and organic visibility first rather than take the retainer.

How do you charge?

Fixed project fees for builds, monthly retainers for ongoing programs, and a percentage of spend with a minimum for paid media. Indicative starting numbers are published on the pricing page. The real number comes after the audit, because an account with a broken conversion signal costs more to fix than one that is merely underperforming.

What happens in the first thirty days?

The answer audit and the technical audit, both delivered with raw evidence rather than a summary. Then the architecture work: entity model, cluster map, schema layer and measurement plan. You should be able to see exactly what we are doing and why by day thirty, before most of the money is spent.

Every other question we get asked →

Not sure which one you need?

Most clients are not, before the audit. Send us a URL and we will tell you which of the three fits, including when the answer is none of them.
